Common reasons a record canβt be edited
Situation | Explanation | What you can do |
Invoice confirmed | Once an invoice is finalized, TravelMind freezes its data. | Create a credit note, make the change, and issue a new invoice. |
Travel Agreement sent for e-sign | Agreements under client review cannot be changed. | Wait until the client declines or cancel it, then recreate. |
Service already invoiced | The service is linked to an issued invoice. | Credit the related invoice before editing the service. |
File marked Closed | Closed files are locked for consistency. | Ask Admin to reopen the file temporarily. |
Imported services | Imported lines are protected from manual edits. | Copy the line, edit the duplicate, and deactivate the original. |
π‘ Tip: Always check the status bar at the top of a file; it shows if a lock is active.
