Creating and editing a customer (Thirds)

Learn how to create or edit a client profile in the Thirds module.

All client details are stored under the Thirds tab — this is your TravelMind address book for customers, suppliers, and contacts.

Every file must link to an existing customer record.


How to create a new customer

💡 Update: Clients can now be created and edited directly from a file.

  1. Open the Thirds tab.

  2. Click New Customer.

  3. Fill in the main fields:

    • Name and surname

    • Address (street, postal code, city, country)

    • Email address

    • Phone number

    • Language (optional but recommended)

  4. Click Save 💾.

💡 Tip: Always check if the customer already exists before creating a new one to avoid duplicates.


How to edit an existing customer

  1. Go to the Thirds tab.

  2. Search for the customer by name or email.

  3. Click the record to open it.

  4. Update any details (address, email, etc.).

  5. Click Save.

⚠️ Important: Updating a customer here automatically updates all linked files.


When to create separate records

  • When the same client books both personally and through a company

  • When two family members pay separately for the same trip
