Creating and managing tasks inside a file

Learn how to create reminders and to-do items linked to specific bookings.

Tasks help you stay organized and ensure key follow-ups aren’t missed.
Each file has its own Tasks tab for individual reminders (like “Send travel documents” or “Confirm payment to supplier”).

How to create a task

  1. Open the file where you want to add the task.

  2. Go to the Tasks tab.

  3. Click Add Task.

  4. Fill in:

    • Task name (e.g., “Request admin payment to supplier”)

    • Due date (deadline for completion)

    • Status (In progress, Done, or Cancelled)

    • Importance (Normal, High, or Low)

  5. Click Save 💾.


Where tasks appear

  • In the Tasks tab of your file.

  • On your TravelMind dashboard under “My Assigned Tasks and Ownership.”


Managing tasks

  • To mark as complete: open the task and change Status → Completed.

  • To cancel: change Status → Cancelled.

  • You can sort or filter tasks by due date, importance, or status.

💡 Tip: Use tasks for anything requiring follow-up — document sending, payment tracking, supplier confirmation, or even client thank-you notes.
