Virtuoso rules and tagging (Yes, Potential, No)

Learn how to tag Virtuoso hotels or packages correctly in TravelMind.

Updated over a month ago

Travel Experts use the Virtuoso tag in TravelMind to help track all Virtuoso-related production each year. Each hotel or package service includes a Virtuoso field where you select Yes, Potential, or No.

How to choose the correct tag

Option

When to use it

Example

Yes

You booked the property directly under Virtuoso conditions.

Hotel X booked via the Virtuoso portal with amenities.

Potential

The hotel is Virtuoso-affiliated, but you booked it through another channel (like a bed bank or TO).

Virtuoso hotel booked via MisterFly for a better rate.

No

The hotel is not part of Virtuoso.

Independent guesthouse, non-member resort, etc.

💡 Tip: When a package contains several hotels and only one is Virtuoso, create a separate hotel service with Virtuoso = “Yes” and set the package line to “No.”
This ensures proper reporting without double-counting.

Why tagging matters

  • Accurate Virtuoso reporting for annual partnership statistics

  • Visibility of high-value bookings

  • Helps identify when Virtuoso amenities should be applied
