Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) adds an extra layer of protection to your account. You approve your login through the Microsoft Authenticator app or a verification code.
How MFA works
When you sign in:
Enter your Microsoft password
Approve the login on your phone (Authenticator app, SMS, or call)
Setting up MFA (one-time)
Install the Microsoft Authenticator app on your phone
Go to https://aka.ms/mfasetup
Sign in with your company email
Scan the QR code with your Authenticator app
Approve the test notification

When prompted, open your app
Tap Approve
💡 Tip: Always keep your Authenticator app active when traveling abroad.
⚠️ Warning: If you lose your phone or change devices, contact IT so they can reset your MFA.
